Harvesting for the Hungry - Palo Alto 2004
From beginning to end... a photo journal of our Harvest for the Hungry event on 2/21/2004 with the Valley of Heart's Delight, Foundation for Global Community.
On this day... 25 volunteers harvested backyard trees from 9 Palo Alto homes resulting in 2200lbs! The fruit was delivered and donated to St. Anthony's Padua Dining Room in Menlo Park. On the following Monday, St. Anthony's began distributing the fruit to the 400-700 people in need that they serve daily.
